Itty Bitty Cases are not authorized or endorsed by the BBC; we made them firstly for ourselves, and then decided to share them when other schools said they wanted something similar.
Adam teaches Computing at Secondary, and when he first played with the microbit immediately wanted a way to customize them, and protect them better against accidents. Working with James, he printed a few ideas and tested them with real microbits through 2015 and 2016. After dozens of different versions, and lots and lots of testing, we ended up with the designs you see above.
We make them ourselves out of non-toxic plastics (combination of PLA (stiff pieces) and biodegradable (flexible pieces)).
